The special exhibition EUROBIKE-Vision in the Foyer West shows everything that’s possible with pedal power.
As in the last years, the focus in 2011 is again on incumbent bikes. Here you can check out the diversity of this alternative bike culture and try them out on the test track in front of Hall 1. Incumbents still continue to be very popular.
The exhibition "EUROBIKE-Vision" in Foyer West also includes the presentation of bike books. This special show has become quite established in the last five years. The focus here is on cycle tours and sport.
The books at the special exhibition are not necessarily those you find in the mainstream book trade, and that’s why they demonstrate the enormous diversity of cycling culture. The huge cycle collection of Michael Embacher has been eternalised in "CYCLOPEDIA - Modernes Fahrrad-Design", the British publishing house Rouleur.cc will present its special titles and Covadonga is renowned for its involvement in cycling themes.
The special exhibition offers the opportunity of studying how to overcome air resistance and see the inventiveness of the constructors when it comes to cycling faster, despite the limitations of the UCI. The EUROBIKE-Vision has time trial bikes, bodies and incumbents for the sports enthusiasts in Foyer West where they can compare the concepts.
